Setup completion via forged state-changing request
Published Jun 1, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Atlassian FishEye and Crucible before 4.8.1 allows remote attackers to complete application setup. The setup resources accept a forged state-changing request and finish the setup workflow without verifying that the user intended it. Exploitation requires user interaction and a reachable setup workflow; success changes the instance from an unconfigured state using attacker-supplied setup values.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
