Open redirect in VMware vRealize Log Insight before 8.1.0 allows remote attackers to send victims to attacker-chosen sites via crafted URLs. The product accepts an attacker-controlled redirect destination in a seemingly trusted deployment URL without properly validating it; VMware has not identified the affected handler or parameter. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted link, enabling phishing and exposing the workstation to content at the chosen destination.
