Unauthenticated access via improper trust store
Published Feb 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in VMware vRealize Operations for Horizon Adapter 6.6.x and 6.7.x allows remote attackers to bypass Adapter authentication via network access. The adapter's trust store is configured improperly, so its authentication validation accepts an unauthenticated request when the Horizon Adapter is running. Any unauthenticated attacker able to reach the vRealize Operations service can obtain adapter access; the advisory does not report configuration changes or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
