Published Jun 12, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Information disclosure in GeoVision GV-GF192x firmware 1.10 allows remote attackers to read system logs without authentication. The device exposes messages.txt and messages.old.txt through its HTTP service without applying an access-control check. Network access to either URL discloses operational log contents useful for further attack planning, with no reported write or service-interruption impact.
