Unauthenticated SQL injection via bkimage parameter
Published Mar 18, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
SQL injection in ArmorX LisoMail before 2017 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands through the bkimage URL parameter. The logo.php handler fails to validate the bkimage parameter before using it in a database query, so attacker-supplied SQL changes the query. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation exposes account credentials, permits password changes after login, and can write a webshell.
