Arbitrary file overwrite in iTunes in Apple macOS allows attackers to replace files through a malicious application on affected releases. Apple has not disclosed the affected iTunes code path or the operation that mishandles attacker-controlled input. The application must execute locally with user interaction; the reported consequence is file overwrite, with no disclosed read access or service interruption.
