WebKit Page Loading in affected Apple products before their March 2020 fixes allows remote attackers to spoof a local file origin. Safari accepts a host assignment on a file URL and reloads the same local document under the attacker-chosen domain. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted local HTML file, after which its script can act in a trusted site context.
