Improper symlink handling in Crash Reporter for Apple macOS before Catalina 10.15.3 allows local users to access restricted files. Crash Reporter operates on a replacement link at DiagnosticMessagesHistory.plist and restores group-write permissions on the linked plist. Administrator-group membership is required to replace the history file and trigger an Analytics setting change; only plist targets are affected.
