Information disclosure via Type 1 font parsing
Published Mar 25, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 through 20.0.8 and Photoshop 2020 through 21.1 allows remote attackers to disclose memory. The Type 1 font parser fails to validate user-supplied charstring data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires opening a malicious file or visiting a malicious page, and the disclosure can assist a chained code-execution attack.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
