CVE-2020-37267

Token disclosure via unredacted Git authorization header

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Information disclosure in Mend.io Renovate 19.180.0 through 23.25.0 allows attackers to obtain Azure DevOps bot tokens. Renovate passes the token in Git's http.extraheader=AUTHORIZATION parameter and writes that parameter to server or pipeline logs without redaction. Exposure requires an Azure DevOps deployment and access to saved logs; the disclosed token permits actions within the bot account's granted permissions.
