CVE-2020-37250Public exploit

LocalSystem code execution via unquoted service path

Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026

Unquoted service path in Weird Solutions TFTP Broadband 4.3.0.1465 allows local users to execute code with LocalSystem privileges. The tftpt.exe Windows service registers its executable path without quotation marks, allowing Windows path parsing to select an attacker-planted executable. A local low-privileged user with write access to an intermediate Program Files path gains LocalSystem code execution when the service starts or the host reboots.
