CVE-2020-37246Public exploit

Arbitrary file read and deletion via path traversal

Published May 16, 2026 · Updated May 16, 2026

Path traversal in Supsystic Backup 2.3.9 allows attackers to read or delete arbitrary server files through admin.php requests. The download handler resolves attacker-supplied traversal paths without confinement, while removeAction trusts its filename parameter for deletion. No authentication or user interaction is required according to the CNA record; filesystem permissions bound which files can be disclosed or removed.
