Administrator account creation via tokenless user-add requests
Published May 16, 2026 · Updated May 16, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Bloofox bloofoxCMS 0.5.1.0 through 0.5.2.1 allows remote attackers to add administrator accounts via forged requests. The administrative user-add handler at admin/index.php?mode=user&action=new&submit=send accepts attacker-selected credentials and an Admin role without verifying an anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to load an attacker-controlled page, whose auto-submitted POST creates a persistent administrative login.
