Administrator-planted browser script execution via unsanitized titles
Published May 16, 2026 · Updated May 16, 2026
Stored XSS in NetArt Media News Lister 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a crafted news title. The news-addition interface stores the title parameter without neutralizing executable markup and later renders that value in news views. Administrator access is required to plant the payload, and script execution occurs when another user views the affected news item.
