Automated password guessing via exposed CAPTCHA codes
Published May 16, 2026 · Updated May 16, 2026
CAPTCHA bypass in iDS6 DSSPro Digital Signage System 6.2 allows remote attackers to automate password guessing via its login endpoint. The unauthenticated Pages/login!autoLoginVerifyCode route returns the CAPTCHA value in a JSON message, which can then be submitted to Pages/login!userValidate with each credential guess. Network access to the web interface is sufficient; account compromise still requires a valid username and password guess.
