Application crash via oversized registration-field input

Classic buffer overflow in MSN Password Recovery 1.30 allows local users to crash the application through its registration dialog. The registration handler copies a 9,000-character value from the User Name and Registration Code field without bounding the input, terminating the process. Exploitation requires the generated text to be pasted into the local Windows GUI and submitted; only an application crash has been demonstrated.
