Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Nsasoft SpotFTP Password Recover 3.0.0.0 allows local users to crash the application via its Key field. The registration dialog copies a pasted 1,000-character registration key beyond the Key field's backing buffer. Exploitation requires local GUI access and active pasting into the field; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash, not data disclosure or code execution.
