CVE-2020-37193Public exploit

Application crash via oversized ZIP path input

Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026

Buffer overflow in ZIP Password Recovery 2.30 allows context-dependent attackers to crash the application through crafted path input. The ZIP-file selection field accepts an oversized byte sequence without enforcing a safe length before the Next action processes it. Exploitation requires a Windows user to paste the generated payload into the selector and click Next; the demonstrated consequence is a process crash.
