Application crash via oversized registration code

Buffer overflow in the registration code field in DigitalVolcano Software TaskCanvas 1.4.0 allows local users to crash the application. The registration input handler copies a pasted 1,000-character payload without checking that it fits the destination buffer. Exploitation requires an interactive local session and affects only TaskCanvas availability; no code execution or data exposure is reported.
