Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Buffer overflow in Nsasoft SpotOutlook 1.2.6 allows local users to crash the application through the registration Name field. The registration dialog copies a 1,000-character name into a fixed-size buffer without checking its length, leaving the process unresponsive. Exploitation requires local GUI interaction to paste the payload and click OK; only the SpotOutlook process is reported to stop responding.
