User-data disclosure via unchecked playlist lookup
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Information disclosure in WWBN AVideo 8.1 allows remote attackers to retrieve user records through a playlist endpoint. The playlistsFromUser.json.php handler accepts an arbitrary users_id value and returns the selected user's playlist record without an authorization check, including email, password hash, recovery token, and administrative status. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosure is limited to data returned for enumerable account identifiers.
