Authenticated database compromise via candidate ID injection

SQL injection in Tripath Project eLection 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data through a candidate ID. The admin/ajax/op_kandidat.php endpoint incorporates the POST id value into a MySQL WHERE or HAVING expression without neutralizing SQL operators. Administrative access reaches the endpoint; MySQL file privileges and a writable web root additionally allow a PHP backdoor upload and code execution.
