Command execution via forged management request
Published Feb 5, 2026 · Updated Feb 5, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Edimax EW-7438RPn Mini 1.23 and 1.27 allows remote attackers to execute commands through /goform/mp. The endpoint accepts a cross-origin POST command value without anti-CSRF validation and processes embedded shell operators as commands. An authenticated device user must submit the attacker's form; resulting commands run on the appliance with that user's privileges.
