Denial of service in GE Intelligent Platforms ProficySCADA for iOS 5.0.25920 allows local users to crash the app via password input. The password field accepts a 257-byte repeated-character string from the clipboard, and selecting Connect terminates the client instead of rejecting the input. Exploitation requires active interaction with the iOS client before authentication and interrupts only that application session.
