CVE-2020-37139Public exploit

Local application crash via oversized connection fields

Published Feb 5, 2026 · Updated Feb 5, 2026

Buffer overflow in Odin Secure FTP Expert 7.6.3 allows local users to crash the application through the site connection fields. The Quickconnect Site dialog accepts 108 repeated bytes pasted into every connection field and processes the oversized values without a length boundary, terminating the process. Exploitation requires local interaction with the Windows client, and the demonstrated consequence is interruption of that application rather than host compromise.
