CVE-2020-37136Public exploit

Application hang via oversized private-key filename

Published Feb 5, 2026 · Updated Feb 5, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in ZOC Terminal 7.25.5 allows local users to hang the application through the SSH key-creation dialog. The private key file field accepts a pasted 2,000-byte string without enforcing the fixed stack buffer's length before key creation. Exploitation requires interactive Windows GUI access and clicking the key-creation button, after which the client becomes unresponsive and must be restarted.
