Code execution via undisclosed memory corruption
Published Jan 29, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Memory corruption in Adobe Illustrator CC 24.0 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through crafted content. Adobe identifies only memory corruption and does not disclose the affected parser, file format, or erroneous operation on untrusted data. Exploitation requires a Windows user to interact with attacker-controlled content, and successful code runs with that user's privileges.
