Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Information disclosure in ASTPP 4.0.1 allows remote attackers to download database backups through predictable filenames. The backup function stores a compressed SQL dump under the web root using astpp_, the date, and a six-digit time value as its filename. An administrator must first create a backup, after which no authentication is required to enumerate the remaining six digits and read the database contents.
