Administrator account creation via forged admin requests
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Maian Support 4.3 allows remote attackers to create administrator accounts through crafted HTML forms. The admin/index.php ajax=team and ajax=faqattach handlers accept state-changing requests under an administrator's session without CSRF validation, while FAQ uploads do not restrict PHP files. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to submit attacker-controlled browser content; the resulting account or uploaded PHP file enables administrative control or server-side code execution.
