Stored JavaScript execution via unsanitized path parameters
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Persistent cross-site scripting in Rubikon Teknoloji Easy Transfer 1.7 for iOS allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via POST requests. The Create Folder and Move/Edit handlers store oldPath, newPath, and path values without neutralizing script markup before later browser rendering. Exploitation requires local Wi-Fi access, low application privileges, and passive interaction when the stored entry is viewed; resulting script execution can hijack sessions or manipulate the web interface.
