Authenticated code execution via unsafe double-extension parsing
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Arox Solution School ERP Pro 1.0 allows remote authenticated users with admin access to execute PHP code. In pre-editstudent.inc.php, the profile-photo handler splits a supplied name such as shell.php.png and rebuilds it using the first two segments, preserving .php before moving the upload into images/student_photos. Administrator access is required; requesting the stored PHP file executes it with the web server process's privileges.
