Unauthenticated PHP code execution via vCard deserialization
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Deserialization in Craft CMS 3 vCard Plugin 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code through a crafted request. The unauthenticated vCard download action processes an encrypted serialized vcard value, letting a Guzzle FileCookieJar gadget write attacker-supplied PHP into the web root. An affected site must have version 1.0.0 installed and the download action reachable; successful exploitation creates a web shell that runs commands as the PHP process.
