Classic buffer overflow in ksoft FTPDummy! 4.80 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted preference file. On startup, the application reads ftpdummypref3.dat without bounding its contents, allowing data after 477 bytes to overwrite the SEH chain. The file must be placed in the installation directory and the application launched; successful exploitation runs code in the application user context.
