CVE-2020-37025Public exploit

Local code execution via Register buffer overflow

Published Jan 30, 2026 · Updated Jan 30, 2026

Buffer overflow in the Register feature of Port Forwarding Wizard 4.8.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code on Windows. The feature copies an overlong request without checking its size, allowing an egg-tag payload to overwrite the SEH chain and redirect execution to shellcode. Exploitation requires local access to submit the crafted request through the Register feature; successful SEH control executes code in the application's security context.
