Stored script execution via unsafe print rendering
Published Jan 30, 2026 · Updated Jan 30, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in PHP Fusion Inc.'s PHPFusion 9.03.50 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via forum messages. The forum branch of print.php passes stored post_message content to parse_textarea(), whose decoding and formatting pipeline returns attacker-controlled HTML without final neutralization. A forum account able to create or edit messages is required, and the script runs only when a victim generates the thread's printable view.
