CVE-2020-36988Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated script execution via unsanitized file parameters

Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026

Stored and reflected XSS in PDW File Browser 1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in users' browsers. The rename handler in actions.php persists the new_filename value without sanitization, while file_specs.php reflects the path parameter without neutralizing HTML. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to submit or visit crafted input; script execution occurs in that user's browser context.
