Local privilege escalation via unquoted CronService path

Unquoted service path handling in Prey 1.9.6 allows local users to execute code with elevated privileges through CronService. CronService registers the auto-start LocalSystem binary as C:\Program Files (x86)\Prey\wpxsvc.exe without enclosing the path in quotation marks. A local user who can place an executable in a searched parent path gains the service account's privileges when the service starts or the system reboots.
