User-assisted code execution via library-folder SEH overwrite
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Zortam MP3 Media Studio 27.60 allows attackers to execute code through crafted library-folder text. The New Library Select Folder field accepts an overlong value that overwrites nSEH and SEH records and redirects control flow through WNASPI32.DLL. Exploitation requires a user to paste the text into the field and confirm it, after which payload code runs with the application's privileges.
