CVE-2020-36925Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated stream access via guessable session IDs

Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026

Session hijacking in Arteco Web Client DVR/NVR allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and view live camera streams. The web client accepts a short numeric SessionId cookie at /arteco-mobile/camera.fcgi, letting automated requests guess an active identifier within model-dependent ranges. No credentials or user interaction are required, but disclosure is limited to streams associated with a session that is active when a guessed identifier is tested.
