Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026
Local privilege escalation in TDM Signage TDM PC Player 4.1.0.4 allows local users to execute replacement binaries with elevated rights. The installation grants the Windows Authenticated Users group Modify permission on the TDMSignage directory, including Player.exe and unins000.exe. A local authenticated Windows account can replace those binaries and gains elevated system access when a substituted file runs in a privileged context.
