Web-interface denial of service via CliWindow request
Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026
Denial of service in Extreme Networks IQ Engine (HiveOS) 11.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt the NetConfig web interface. The action.php5 endpoint dispatches an attacker-controlled _page value to CliWindow without throttling the request, leaving the Hive UI unavailable for 305 seconds. The attack requires network reachability to an enabled Hive UI, and published evidence limits the consequence to a five-minute management-interface interruption.
