Account enumeration via distinct login errors
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Username enumeration in SpinetiX Fusion 3.4.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to identify valid accounts through login requests. The /fusion/index.php?r=users/login endpoint returns “Username is incorrect” for unknown names but “Password is incorrect” for valid names. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the disclosed consequence is limited to validating account names for follow-on password attacks.
