CVE-2020-36877Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via executable PHP upload

Published Dec 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in ReQuest Serious Play F3 Media Server allows remote attackers to execute code as the web server user. The hidden /tools/upload.html Quick File Uploader posts attacker-controlled PHP to /shared/upload.php, which stores it below the web-accessible /MP3/ path. No authentication or user interaction is required; requesting the uploaded script executes arbitrary commands with the Apache account's privileges.
