Unauthenticated administrative actions via missing nonce checks
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in BinaryCarpenter WP Lead Plus X 0.99 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter site content via forged requests. Several administrative action handlers accept state-changing requests without valid WordPress nonces, exposing every action the plugin can perform. A logged-in administrator must follow a crafted link; successful requests can add pages or replace site content with attacker-supplied JavaScript.
