Post metadata modification via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Feedzy RSS Feeds 3.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify post metadata through an administrator's browser. The save_feedzy_post_type_meta() function accepts forged request data and updates post metadata without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator to submit the crafted request, and its documented consequence is unauthorized post-metadata modification.
