Metabox data modification via skipped nonce validation
Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Press Customizr Hueman 3.6.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify metabox data via a forged request. The save_meta_box() function verifies the nonce only when the expected nonce field is present, so a request that omits the field proceeds to save submitted metabox values. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to submit attacker-controlled content, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized modification of post metabox data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
