Meta field modification via missing nonce validation

CSRF in Hiroaki Miyashita Custom Field Template 2.5.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify post meta values via forged requests. The edit_meta_value() function processes state-changing requests without correctly validating a WordPress nonce before writing submitted meta field values. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, allowing changes with that administrator's authority.
