Unauthorized feed loading via missing nonce validation
Published Jul 1, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in SlickRemix Feed Them Social 2.8.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to load feeds through a forged request. The my_fts_fb_load_more() AJAX handler accepts the request without correctly validating its WordPress nonce, so attacker-supplied feed-loading parameters execute in an administrator's session. Exploitation requires a site administrator to interact with an attacker-controlled link or page; the documented consequence is unauthorized feed loading only.
