Forged import-status display via missing nonce validation
Published Jul 1, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Brainstorm Force Import / Export Customizer Settings 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to display import status. The astra_admin_errors() function accepts a forged request without correct WordPress nonce validation and renders the supplied import-status notice. Exploitation requires an administrator to act on a crafted link, and the documented consequence is limited to changing the displayed import status.
