Settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Jul 1, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Brainstorm Force CartFlows 1.5.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings via forged requests. The export_json, import_json, and status_logs_file functions accept administrative requests without correct WordPress nonce validation, enabling settings import or export and log display under an administrator's session. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker to induce a site administrator to submit the crafted request, and the recorded impact is limited to unauthorized administrative actions.
